Parkland Therapy Services helps patients become mobile after surgery, treats stroke patients and assists with wound care. Outpatients are treated for a variety of orthopedic, sports, arthritic and neurological conditions, as well as for industrial-related injuries.

Therapists use state-of-the-art equipment while working closely with physicians in a wide variety of specialties, including family practice, orthopedics, podiatry, neurology and psychiatry.

Physical Therapy
Physical Therapists develop patient-specific treatments to help regain strength and mobility, and relieve pain following injuries or surgery.

Occupational Therapy
Assists individuals in achieving their optimal functional independence despite disability, injury, or disease. Occupational therapists have the unique skills to offer hand therapy rehabilitation and fabricate custom splints to prevent deformity or enhance functional use. We have a certified lymphedema therapist on staff.

Speech-Language Pathology
Provides interventions to adults as well as children in the areas of chewing, swallowing, articulation, voice, fluency, language, cognition, memory, lip reading, sign language, and/or augmentative communication assistance.

Aquatic Therapy (Bonne Terre Location)
Aquatic therapy programs are designed and implemented by the physical therapist to assist in the rehabilitation of specific areas of the body without applying excessive forces to the joints, as in spine rehabilitation, recovery from total joint replacement, and treatment of arthritic conditions.

Referrals
A physician's referral is required for therapy and may be obtained in writing from your physician.

Insurance
We participate in and accept the majority of insurance plans including Medicare, Medicaid, PPOs, and HMOs. We will be glad to file all insurance with proper certification or develop a payment plan. Precertification may be required prior to treatment. Parkland Therapy Services is exempt from Medicare caps.
