Raad Roubey, MD, MACP, is selected for the second year in a row by Consumers' Research Council of America as one of America's top physicians in 2008. Criteria include education and continuing education, number of years in the medical profession, board certification and affiliations with professional medical associations. Dr. Roubey, an internal medicine specialist, has been on the medical staff of Parkland Health Center since September 1999.
Dr. Roubey attended medical school in his home city Milan, Italy. He then practiced medicine and conducted medical research at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. Following his Canadian experience, he practiced medicine at St. Louis University Hospital and Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis (now known as Forest Park Hospital) before coming to Parkland Health Center in Farmington.
