It’s a girl! Harmony is her name, and she is the first baby to arrive in 2018 in St. Francois County. At 2:58 p.m. on January 1, Harmony was introduced to her mom, Amber Godier, and her dad, Stephon Robinson. Harmony will make her home in Desoto with her parents. Dr. Kim Borchers delivered Harmony on January 1. As first baby, Harmony and her mom were treated to a large gift basket loaded with a variety of items for mom and baby. Items such as restaurant coupons from Qdoba, Steak-n-Shake and CiCis Pizza, a gift certificate to Laura Belle Boutique, flowers to be delivered by Parkland Flower Girl, tokens for a car wash at Maple Valley and stuffed animals, toys and much more -- all thanks to area merchants, Parkland OB nurses, Ladies First and Medical Arts OBs & pediatricians. Ragen Amelung, RN, presented the gift basket to Harmony and her family. “She is such a beautiful little girl,” said Amelung. “We are delighted to treat her and her family with some things to help them get started.”
