Parkland Health Center is pleased to announce that Rob Hoefer has been selected as the ICARE Star Service Employee for October 2017. Rob is a security officer and has worked at Parkland Health Center since April 2014.
Excerpts from Rob’s nomination read, “Our Star Service employee for October is a pleasure to work with. Not only does he always wear a smile and greet everyone he encounters in a kind manner, but he is quick to put a smile on the face of those he meets. He is a reliable, dependable employee … and always does whatever is needed. Prior to coming to Parkland he worked as a police officer. This experience has given him a great foundation for handling security concerns in a calm, reassuring way. He displays our ICARE values every day and consistently goes above and beyond in his service.”
When asked what he likes about his job at Parkland and how he felt about being selected for this award, Rob said, “I like that I work with and around a wonderful group of people dedicated to helping others. I was very surprised and honored when I found out that I had been selected.”
ICARE is Parkland’s patient experience service initiative and the acronym stands for the following values; Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
